FISH n CHIPS

Does anyone know if there are any places in Almoradi that offer Fish n Chips and if yes what is the cost?
We have tried several places out of Almoradi, which are nice but unfortunately you cannot have a drink when you are driving. Cheers

Almoradi

The best place that I know is the Fountain Bar in Dolores I know you have to Drive but it is worth going with out a drink.

I am sure someone mentioned Que Pasa do Fish n Chips for 2 at 10 euros, but that was a while ago, not sure if they still do. What about yourselves Cafe Vienna do you not offer this?

We're to former Cafe Almoradi... We took over in November and had a great help from the owners before that's why we still offer some English food like breakfasts and every Friday fish 'n chips... Hope to welcome you in our bar
We're situated in Calle Donadores, that's near the church, on the corner you have Banco Santander

Commented La Cubanita in Almoradi 2011-07-19 13:06:48 UTC

Oh now I know where you are! Do you offer any other type of food?

Commented savemoney61 in Almoradi 2011-07-19 13:11:47 UTC

Yes we have home-made lasagne, chicken curry and chilli con carne. We offer also steak pie, gammon steak, breaded scampi, pork chops etc.... Every first Saturday off the month we offer also a special Cuban menu... And now with the week from the fiestas we have some nice anti recession meals :-)

I cannot comment on any of the places in Almoradi, however I agree with savemoney that Quesada fish and chips is the business for good, tasty and value for money food. Highly recommended!

La Marina

I have seen inside this propperty Carol and it is a real credit to the owner. It would make a lovely holiday home for a couple or a permanent home for one person. Also with planning permission it could be made into a 2-bed house at a later date. It seems a sound investment to me.

Spain sees surge in air traffic arrivals

With the local debt crisis keeping flights and living costs cheap, Brits in particular are flocking to Spain for a sun-seeking vacation in 2011, which could account for the 8% increase in air passenger arrivals as reported by Spain's public air navigation body.

AENA reports that 95 million people have so far passed through Spanish airports, an increase that can also be explained by more low-cost airlines focusing their efforts on the attractive and affordable nation - the number of flights scheduled to Spain has increased by 2.5% compared to H1 2010. Brits in particular continue to take a shine to Spain, with bookings to the country up 11% so far this year according to the Association of British Travel Agents, and four of Easyjet's top five destinations of the moment being Spanish cities - Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Madrid and Alicante.
